Brookfield Jaycees
- www.BrookfieldJaycees.com

This site was created by me in November of 2000 for my home Jaycee Chapter in Brookfield, Illinois. The site was originally done in Frontpage, then Dreamweaver.  Once the site grew I felt it was time to look into something that was easier to manage.  I stumbled upon "Mambo", a predecessor to Joomla CMS.  The site was in Mambo until 2008 when I moved the site to Joomla 1.0.x.

This site has been where I have learned much of my Joomla skills and is continually evolving as newer features and add-ons become available.

Hinsdale First
-

A newly formed political party approached me about creating and maintaining their website. The purpose of their site is to inform Hinsdale area voters on the political party's candidates and the stance that they have regarding various political issues. This site was built using  Joomla 1.0.15 and features some modified Joomla Components and Modules. The Hinsdale first logo was not created by me, however, I did heavily customize a pre-made template to the clients' liking. I also customized the bullet points to mimic the red star found in the party's logo

Unfortunately, the client allowed the web hosting to lapse, so there is no hyperlink available to the site.

La Cabanita
- www.LaCabanita.com

A local mexican restaurant in Brookfield Illinois was in need of a presence on the internet.  I worked closely with Ralphael "Ralphy" Villasenor in the design of the site.  He wanted very bold primary colors in his site to mimic the bold colors found within his restaurant.  I reccommended a toned down pallete that was a bit easier  on the web site visitor's eyes.  This site has evolved somewhat from the original version and now includes definitions in english of what some of the mexican dishes are.

This site is straight HTML, built using Dreamweaver 8, CSS is used to control the site's look and feel.
